SoloLearn (JavaScript)

SoloLearn is a great website for getting started with coding. It offers easy to follow lessons, interspersed with quizzes to help you retain what you are learning. Each section of the course provides basic information on the topic at hand, starting with what software you will need on your computer and continuing through the fundamentals. This quiz style format is quick and easy to work through, but lacks real-world examples. One of the best things ab0ut SoloLearn is that all of the courses can be accessed online or through a mobile app (Android or Apple), and your progress will be saved regardless of which you are using. This is very handy if you want to learn at home and continue on the go from where you left off. SoloLearn is a great place to learn to code, but offers few opportunities for practicing. Fortunately, there are other websites for that.
