Free Tax Assistance
Valley of the Tetons Library hosts the Teton Valley VITA tax preparation service. VITA is a nationwide program sponsored by the IRS for assisting low and moderate income taxpayers with their federal and state tax returns. VITA programs are staffed by IRS-certified volunteers and offer fast, reliable e-Filing. Returns filed by TVVITA are generally processed and the refund check deposited within three weeks of filing. Best of all, VITA services are completely free.
To get started with your return, visit the TVVITA website. Intake interviews must be scheduled in advance by calling 208-274-3252 or completing the registration form on the VITA website. Spanish language assistance is available by appointment.
