What is Makerspace?
Valley of the Tetons Library makerspace provides a free and accessible space for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to explore and create. It is a place where everyone is welcome to explore their creative side and engage with a supportive community of makers. Our makerspace is equipped with the tools and resources necessary to bring ideas to life, from crafting, sewing, cooking and laser cutters to music, games, puzzles and electronics.
We are committed to fostering a community of makers who support and inspire each other. We value sustainability and environmental responsibility. Makers are encouraged to think about the impact of their projects on the planet and to seek out eco-friendly and recycled materials and techniques. Our doors are open to all. Come create with us!
What to expect on your first visit
On your first visit, staff will ask you to sign the Makerspace Policy and Waiver: Community Agreement For Use for you and any children in your care. Then you can expect a 5-10 minute tour of all the creative tools available. We respectfully request:
- Do not drop children off at the Makerspace unaccompanied. All patrons under 18 must sign a Waiver and Community Agreement For Use in person at the Makerspace before they can engage with the space.
