You can get a FREE library card for the library branches in Jackson and Alta, WY. Just bring your current Valley of the Tetons Library card and proof that you live in Teton County, Idaho (like a driver’s license or one of the items listed here) to either of these branches:

Please return items to the same library system that they were borrowed in! Valley of the Tetons Library items can be returned at Victor, Driggs or Tetonia branches with the exception of items from the Tool Library which can only be returned at the Victor branch. Teton County Library items should be returned at Jackson or Alta branches.
Patrons of Teton County Library in Wyoming can receive reciprocal borrowing privileges that allow access to physical materials from Valley of the Tetons Library as well. These cards are FREE to current cardholders of Teton County Library. Please bring your TCL card to any Valley of the Tetons Library branch to receive access to VTL content. In 2024, the library boards and directors for Teton County Library based in Jackson and Alta, Wyoming and Valley of the Tetons Library based in Teton County, Idaho launched a partnership to benefit residents on both sides of the state line. Recognizing the unique inter-connectedness of our communities, this partnership was created to allow current patrons of Valley of the Tetons Library to access library benefits at Teton County Library for FREE and vice versa. Benefit access is at the discretion of the lending library and may change over time. Contact any library branch with questions.
