Borrow eBooks, Audiobooks & Magazines with Libby

Valley of the Tetons Library uses Libby by Overdrive to give patrons access to THOUSANDS of eBooks, audiobooks and digital magazines.

  • Visit libbyapp.com on a browser or download the Libby app on your device.
  • Select Idaho Digital Consortium or Valley of the Tetons District as your library.
  • Enter your card number from the back of your library card, including the letter P (P #####)
  • Your default PIN is your last name, lowercase.

More Libby info…

  1.  Use your Valley of the Tetons Library Card to access digital collections from 12 partner Idaho libraries including Idaho Falls, Boise, Blackfoot and more! See below for more info.
  2. Online titles are automatically removed from your account at the end of your selected lending period unless you renew. There are no late fees!
  3. Magazines are available on the Libby app too. Your library card allows you to access over 6,200 magazines, and they are always adding more. Magazine checkouts do not count against your total allowed checkout limit. 
  4. Request new digital titles through our website Purchase Suggestions/Request form. Suggestion requests made through the Libby app are not tracked by VTL.

How to Add a Library in Libby

  1. Open the Libby app, then tap the menu button on the bottom center of the screen.
  2. Tap “Add Library.”
  3. Search for and select the library you want to add. Tap “Sign in with My Card.”
  4. Choose Valley of the Tetons Library or Idaho Digital Consortium and enter your library card number found above the bar code on your card – P #####. Your default password is your last name all in lowercase letters.
  5. You can rename your card or click “Next.”
  6. The library you added will now appear under “Your Libraries” in the menu screen.
