The library has always felt like my safe space. One of my earliest memories is going to storytime and being able to check out picture books from my library.Mary Kitto

Keep the Story Going

Valley of the Tetons Library first opened its doors in 1966. Over the last 60 years it has been a hub for our community, expanding to meet the needs of our community. From books lent from a borrowed brick shed in Victor, to computers, tools, DVDs, audiobooks and more shared from three branches and a Makerspace, VTL continues to inspire lifelong learning, encourage exploration and creativity and enrich our community.

This year we celebrate 60 years of local literacy! You can keep the story going with a donation today.

I have always loved libraries. From borrowing Dan Frontier books as a young child, to doing research for junior high term papers and high school projects, to university study and completing my MA and PhD, libraries have always been an integral part of my life. Libraries are a gateway to learning, for all of us, and they are precious.Bill Voss

Donations through VTL Foundation and Friends support all forms of literacy.

During the Tin Cup Challenge June 12 – July 24, 2026, your gift of any amount to Valley of the Tetons Library Foundation and Friends goes toward facilities, programs and collections of VTL. Thanks to a partial match from business and individual challengers through the Community Foundation of Teton Valley, that donation goes further.

My favorite thing about the library is that people can read and they get to learn new things about the library…The library has helped me learn and read better because I used to not know how to read and a teacher teached me how to read so [now] I like reading as well as a lot of other people.Jacky, age 9

Giving to VTL Foundation and Friends through the Tin Cup Challenge directly supports life-long learning right here in Teton Valley. Donate today.
