Group Visits

Librarian reading to a group of kids

Group Visits

Thanks for your interest in visiting VTL! The library is available for group visits during open hours. Group leaders must first review the Group Visit Procedures and any additional applicable policies or forms before booking and visiting.

Group Visit Procedures

Please note that tours are available to everyone who visits the library. If your group does not need dedicated librarian attention beyond a short tour, greeting, or traditional library services like book check out, no reservation is needed.

If you’d like a librarian-led activity in one of our branches or makerspace, please make a request using the Group Visit Request Form.  Possible focuses of your visit could include an introduction to our summer reading program, a tour of research resources for any age group, a special storytime, literacy activity, STEM activity or craft.

Request a Group Visit

After you submit this form, a library staff member will reach out to confirm the visit and discuss any additional details.

If you’d like to offer library cards for students as part of your group visit, parents or legal guardians of each student must complete the Student Library Card Sign Up that will be emailed to you. All forms from your class should be turned in to the library branch you’d like to visit at least four business days before your scheduled visit.

Reservable Meeting Rooms

Small group meeting rooms are available at no cost. They can be reserved for up to two hours each day and up to one month in advance. To reserve a meeting room, there’s no need to fill out the above group visit request form. Just contact the Victor Branch at 208-787-2201, victor@votlib.org or Driggs Branch at 208-354-5522, driggs@votlib.org.
