Code Academy (Java)

Code Academy’s learning platform is unique because of its interactivity. Each lesson requires significant input from the user, and can sometimes take a bit of self-guided problem-solving. Unlike the read-repeat-move on type websites, this format really cements the concepts and allows you to see how they work in a real example. This is very helpful if you want to learn how to code, but don’t have any specific ideas for what to do with it yet. Working through the lessons is fun and engaging, and often feels like playing a game. If you learn best by doing, this is a great place to get started with learning Java.
