You are here: Home / Beetle Blocks

Beetle Blocks

Beetle Blocks is very similar to both Scratch and Snap! but with a much greater emphasis on artistic applications. As such, it includes many code blocks that Scratch and Snap! do not have. Users create geometric algorithms that can be run to create amazing 2D and 3D shapes and designs. If you are comfortable with Scratch, but want to delve deeper into the world of programmable art, Beetle Blocks is for you.

Where to start…

Beetle Blocks is available in an online editor, with the usual cloud features. Access it here.

Example Projects…

Exploratorium Tinkering Studio – Another blog style website with some cool example projects with physical final products.
