Valley of the Tetons Library has been an important part of this community for generations. Your legacy can help ensure it remains a vital hub for generations to come.
For over 60 years, VTL has connected people with books, ideas, technology, learning, creativity, and one another. The library serves children and families, students and teachers, seniors, businesses, and neighbors throughout the Valley.
A legacy gift to the Valley of the Tetons Library Foundation and Friends (VTLF) non-profit organization is a meaningful way to extend that impact well into the future, and leaving a legacy may be easier than you think.
Include VTLF in your will or trust.
A charitable bequest is one of the simplest and most flexible ways to make a lasting gift. You can designate a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a portion of what remains after providing for loved ones.
Name VTLF as a beneficiary of a retirement account.
You can name Valley of the Tetons Library Foundation and Friends as a full or partial beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other retirement account with significant tax advantages to your heirs – often simply by updating your beneficiary designation with your plan administrator.
Name VTLF as a beneficiary of a bank or investment account.
Many bank and brokerage accounts allow you to designate a charitable beneficiary through a payable-on-death (POD) or transfer-on-death (TOD) designation, while retaining full control of your assets during your lifetime.
A legacy gift can help ensure future generations have access to opportunities for discovery, learning and connection that VTL provides. As the library works toward a purpose-built library and community cornerstone in Driggs, that commitment to the future has never been more important.
In planning documents, please reference Valley of the Tetons Library Foundation and Friends (EIN 48-1275799). Valley of the Tetons Library Foundation encourages donors to consult with their attorney, financial advisor, or tax professional when considering a charitable gift through their estate or financial plans.
Contact the library once you’ve made arrangements, if you’ve already included VTLF in your plans, if you’re interested in learning more, or need assistance. Sharing your intentions allows us to thank you and better understand how you hope your future gift will benefit the library and our community.
